Table of the Big – 15 of the 50 largest Economies of the World are U.S. States (or the U.S. itself)
To accompany the expanded Tabled by Area tables (scroll down to here ),
Impearls is restating its
recent table
of the largest economies of the world.
Following is the table, based on the CIA's 2002 World Factbook , of the world's economies (including U.S. states amongst the nations) having GDPs during the year 2001 in excess of $200 billion U.S. dollars.
For local interest, California's Los Angeles County is included among the economies of the nations and states, though not given a rank.
